Forward, then review
Forward the original message to your household address. Keep the email and attachment together as evidence, but confirm the suggested record type, title, date, and destination before saving it.
Use trusted-sender rules
Allow known senders such as a property manager, insurer, or travel provider. Unknown senders should be quarantined for review so an unsolicited message cannot quietly become a family record.
Choose the record’s purpose
A rental invoice may need a payment reminder, a financial evidence label, or simple archival. A travel booking may belong to an existing trip or start a new one. Show only the fields relevant to that choice.
Keep deletion available
Incorrect, unwanted, or spam email should be removable. A recoverable bin gives you a chance to undo a mistake before permanent deletion.
